I was stunned to receive the box that held Jamaica’s cremains.  His name was engraved on the outside with a gold lock and key.  I never thought this is how his ashes would be sent back to me.  What an amazing gift that was given to me at such a sad time.  It is greatly appreciated and I am thankful to the staff for making the letting go of Jamaica a respectful one.  Jamaica’s ashes were buried in Chicago, but I have his beautiful box and I am grateful to you for this beautiful gift.  Kerry T

Thank you so much for being so kind and accommodating to my mom during this difficult time. You have made this grieving process a little easier and I can’t express my gratitude enough. Thank you! Quan

I want to express my profound appreciation and gratitude for the kindness and compassion shown to me by your staff. I cannot imagine being treated better if I had been making arrangements for a human family member instead of my dear dog Zippy. Thank you! Victoria C

On behalf of myself and of my dear pet TAC I send heartfelt thanks for the respectful care shown TAC after his passing. TAC was so handsome and a cat full of personality but most importantly a faithful and attentive companion.  Regards, Claudia S

Bear was a wonderful family member, protector and friend. The 19 years he spent with us will be forever treasured in our heart. When he passed, we truthfully didn’t know what to do because it wasn’t easy to let him go.  But like a godsend, the folks at San Diego Pet Memorial Park came to our rescue and showed compassion and concern.  You gave us an opportunity to put “Big Bear” to rest the right way and keep a piece of him close to us.  We just wanted to say Thank You!  We are so grateful for your help and will never forget it, you touched our heart in such a special way!  The Green Family

Our sincere thanks for your kindness and caring during this difficult time for our family.  May God bless you! Jeff T.

Dear SD Pet Memorial,
I just wanted to take a time out during my grievance to extend my deep appreciation for achieving funeral service perfection. I can’t repeat enough what supreme service I received from you for my beloved dog, Snotty. You don’t know how touched I was when I saw you even left me his sweet paw print on clay! His urn had perfectly placed fonts and his face was beautifully engraved in the wood. I feel especially bewildered on the beautiful quality and amount of care you put in to let me know how priceless my Snotty was.My tears upon receiving the urn and clay paw print were not tears of sadness — they were tears of joy because my baby was respectfully put to rest. I’m also a journalist and you can be assured that I’m spreading the word about your great service. Thank you. Thank you.Sincerely,
Dita

Thanks so much for all your well wishes and kind words, my baby girl Foxy, came to me in a dream last night she was just precious, and helping me choose a new boy doggie :) she was a little human girl with an adorable puffy dress but when she looked in my eyes they were Foxy’s beautiful eyes. I woke up with an overwhelming feeling of joy. It was perfect.Thank you,

Thank you for taking care of me and my family in our time of need.
Our entire family was devastated at the loss of our Teacup Chihuahua – Tipsy Mama’s – to an accident crossing the street to get home one night. My daughter wailed for hours with grief and we were at a total loss of what to do. I did a quick search for Pet Cemeteries and came across San Diego Pet Memorial Park. As soon as they answered the phone, I felt a sense of relief as the staff guided us through the procedures of cremating our friend. Their care and service made the sting a little more bearable. They had different options for service and catered to our emotional needs during the ceremony. When all was said and done, we were given the ashes in a beautifully custom engraved box. My daughter also opted to have the ashes encased in a glass bead for a bracelet.Six months later we would lose our rescued “special” puppy Chiefer. We rescued him at 2 weeks. He was deaf, had a heart murmur AND a neurological ticking problem. We were warned by our Vet that he would most likely not be with us long so we made the best of it all and when it came time, we knew EXACTLY who to call. This is just another way for me to say thank you for taking care of me and my family in our time of need. They also made a donation in memory of each of our pets to help rescue and care for other animals.Thank you!

The people and service at San Diego Pet Memorial Park did a lot to make a truly horrible day a lot better. I would definitely recommend them.
I made three different calls to them on a day that I was in and out of tears. I started out talking business with Mick, but he must have heard in my voice that I needed to share a little more personally and he was so great on the phone that I knew I wanted to work with SDPMP. Then a call back to Tim found him to be just as sensitive. He even knew who I was because Mick had told him I might call back. When I got there, Christine was great. Cheerful enough to lift my spirits a little but not in any kind of phony way, knowing what I was going through. The people and service at San Diego Pet Memorial Park did a lot to make a truly horrible day a lot better. I would definitely recommend them.Milo

P.A.W.S
Shannon- I wanted to pass along how wonderful SD Pet Memorial has been to our clients. Five minutes ago one of our clients came in to give us some cat food and supplies that had belonged to her cat, Woody. He had died just a few weeks ago but wanted to share with us how wonderful it was that PAWS was able to work with all of you in giving her beloved cat a proper cremation and a glorious remembrance box for his ashes. She was quite emotional about it as she relayed that her last pet, an Irish setter, was cremated and they just gave her the ashes in a coffee can! This final gesture meant the world to her. Again, thank you so much for all you’ve been doing for our clients. Lisa Saneda Executive Director

Dear Abe,
I’m writing this letter to you, from the bottom of my heart, to express my thankfulness.Im an employee of VCA Peninsula Animal Hospital in Point Loma, whose best friend and companion Blinx died on July 19, 2008.You managed to bring him home to me, with his face edged on the cedar box, wearing a Nike hat looking so alive just as he was on the photo. You have an amazing gift, and I want you to know that you managed to capture the soul of my dog in your woodwork.Thank you so much for your time, effort and your ability to bring back to life the one I lost- Blinx the Pit-bull who was an important part of my life.Sincerely,Elena L.

Dear SD Pet Park,
The people here were so loving and kind when my kitty passed away and had to pick up his ashes. They put him in a nice cedar box urn that could be engraved; it was much more than anticipated.Plus there cemetery looked more like a real human cemetery, With smaller plots and real gravestonesNot the creepy one from the Stephen king movie with the hand-made kid written grave markers! The whole park was in such a beautiful hillside location on a cul-de-sac. It is a bit off the beaten path but it is worth it.The office also didn’t feel like a graveyard, it was very homey and they had all their products and options on display too! No wonder why the VCA refers everyone here for cremations and burials I highly recommend it too!Kudzu User
